EUFRAS COFFEE Break: Exploring Horizon Europe Opportunities

The Easter holidays are behind us, and the new work week kicked off with a fresh dose of inspiration at the EUFRAS COFFEE Break, held today – April 24. The focus of the session was "Horizon Europe Opportunities for Advisory Organisations", with special attention to Cluster 6 and the EU Missions.

The event was moderated by Anita Dzelme from EUFRAS, but valuable insights were shared by Aiga Salmiņa, Lāsma Brenča, and Marija Kiršteine from the Latvian Council of Science.

Over 40 participants from 18 countries had registered for the session, showing a strong interest in learning how to navigate Horizon Europe calls more effectively. Event highlighted what to look out for when searching for relevant calls, how to interpret them carefully, and shared useful tips for successful participation.

A noteworthy highlight was the introduction of CBE project calls, which sparked curiosity and offered fresh opportunities to explore.

Additionally, Marija provided a focused overview of the EU Missions, sharing key points to consider when planning to participate in one of the five mission areas. Her presentation included helpful statistics and other valuable information for potential applicants.
