On the 19th of July 2017 Rector Juan Viaño and EUFRAS President Tom Kelly signed in the historic pilgrims city Santiago de Compostela the CECRA Partnership Agreement between the University of Santiago de Compostela (USC) and EUFRAS.

The USC is the first institution accredited as CECRA Partner in Spain and has started CECRA trainings in 2016 as post graduate courses for agricultural advisors in Galicia. At the same day, the USC was approved as EUFRAS CECRA Module Provider in a further accreditation process. The USC intends to expand its portfolio of advisor method trainings in the following years with the aim of improving advisory work in Spain.
