EUFRAS as Linked Third Party to Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia, institution Maribor is taking part in European project FERTINNOWA aiming to collect, exchange and transfer knowledge on innovative solutions to improve water management in fertigated crop production. Objectives of the project are to improve irrigation water quality and water use efficiency, and to reduce environmental impacts.
On the 12th of October 2016, FERTINNOWA members and VEGEPOLYS will organize a workshop on the practical management of irrigation and fertigation in horticultural production (water quality, water use efficiency, nutrient use efficiency, source water management, etc.) in Saint –Pol-de-Léon, Brittany, France. The workshop will be followed by a day of field visits to innovative local growers on Thursday, the 13th of October.

EUFRAS General Assebly 2017 took place from 22nd till 23rd of February during the 26th edition of the Inernational Agricultural Exhibition AGRA in Plovdid, Bulgaria which was the largest platform of agribusiness in South Eastern Europe. The assebly was hosted by Bulgarian National Agricultural Advisory Service (NAAS). 

The 12th European IFSA (International Farming Systems Association - Europe Group) Symposium "Social and technological transformation of farming systems: Diverging and converging pathways" will take place at Harper Adams University, Newport, UK, from 12th till 15th of July, 2016.

The EUFRAS/IALB Conference took place from 19th till 23rd of June in Limerick, Ireland and offered rural professionals the opportunity to gain new knowledge, skills and perspectives and experience the green and beautiful surroundings of south-western Ireland.

After almost two years of preparations, agricultural institutions from Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo*, Macedonia, Slovenia and Serbia successfully founded the South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN). SEASN Founding Assembly took place in Bulgarian capital city Sofia at 22nd October 2015. Tom Kelly, President of the EUFRAS and Ulrich Ryser, President of the IALB marked special significance to the Founding Assembly with their attending and presented very acutal theme: „Key challenges for European agricultural advisory services and the importance of advisory services cooperation“.

Lugo Campus of the University of Santiago de Compostela is looking forward to welcoming professionals working on rural development to the 1st International Workshop on Rural Extension - Training of Rural Advisors which will take place from the 19th till 20th of October, 2015 in Campus of Lugo, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain. 

The Conference will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria on 23rd of October, 2015 and is organized by Initiative Committee for setting up the „South East European Advisory Service Network – ASN-SEE“.
