At the end of April two advisors from EUFRAS network - Romana Holle from Germany and Jānis Kažotnieks from Latvia, participated at the workshop on organic no-till farming, regenerative agriculture and on-farm research and innovation in Absdorf, Austria, supported by the OK-Net Arable project.

The 8th GFRAS Annual Meeting will take place from 10th till 13th of September, 2017 on the theme of “Rural Advisory Services and Empowered Youth for Balanced Transformation in Rural and Urban Communities”. The meeting will be held backto-back with the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) International Conference to be held on 13th till 15th of September. Side events will be organised on 8th and 9th of September 2017.

On  21st and 22nd June 2017, more than 200 companies, associations and organisations will be presenting what they have to offer in the organic agriculture arena at the first ever nationwide Organic Field Days.

The 3rd edition of Organic Innovation Days will take place from 15th to 17th of November 2017 in Brussels, Belgium.

After the success of the 2015 edition, the French Chambers of Agriculture is pleased to announce the sixth edition and the 10th year of Tech&Bio, the European professional show about organic and alternative farming techniques. Tech&Bio will be held on the 20th and 21st of September 2017 in Drôme, France’s number one organic département.

EUFRAS Members and interested parties are invited to consider a possibility to participate in the online course "Challenges of Organic Arable Farming" that will be held from 03 April to 30 June, 2017.

The conference "EIP-Agri and Horizon 2020 – design the cooperation" will take place on the 26th and 27th of September, 2017. 

The OK-Net knowledge platform will be introduced to the audience on 16 February at BIOFACH, Germany. The knowledge platform has been launched in October 2016, it was developed to exchange organic knowledge and enhance farming. It provides a wide range of resources, and a virtual meeting place for cross-border learning.

On the 3rd of October, 2016 a new platform – OK-Net Arable – aimed at filling the gap in the exchange of information between farmers across Europe was launched. The complexity of organic farming requires farmers to have a very high level of knowledge and skills. But exchange on organic farming techniques remains limited.
