A new project – OK-Net EcoFeed – aimed at helping organic pig and poultry farmers in achieving the goal of 100% use of organic and regional feed was launched on 22nd of January, 2018.

EUFRAS is participating as 3rd party in NEFERTITI to support the project-partners with dissemination of results to all EUFRAS members and to organize cross-visits between initiators of farm-demonstration activities to intensify innovation by peer-to-peer learning. EUFRAS members from Croatia, Poland, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland and Spain are NEFERTITI-project partners.

EUFRAS Annual Assembly 2018 took place from 21st till 22nd of February in Warsaw, Poland together with the international conference „Challenges for agricultural advisory after 2020”. The assebly was hosted by EUFRAS member organization Agricultural Advisory Center in Brwinow.

The 3rd edition of TP Organics’ Organic Innovation Days took place from 15 to 17 November in Brussels, Belgium. The aim of the event was to show the innovation potential of the organic food and farming sector.

2nd Annual SEASN Assembly and 4th Regional Conference of Advisory Service of South East Europe will take place in Lasko, Slovenia on 21st November 2017 within Annual Seminar of Kmetijsko Gozdarska Zbornica Slovenije (KGZS). More information will follow!

In order to enhance the cooperation between European forum for rural advisory services and African Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services on 21st of June the memorandum of agreement between both networks was signed within the 56th IALB and 6th EUFRAS conference in Münster.

At the end of April two advisors from EUFRAS network - Romana Holle from Germany and Jānis Kažotnieks from Latvia, participated at the workshop on organic no-till farming, regenerative agriculture and on-farm research and innovation in Absdorf, Austria, supported by the OK-Net Arable project.

The 8th GFRAS Annual Meeting will take place from 10th till 13th of September, 2017 on the theme of “Rural Advisory Services and Empowered Youth for Balanced Transformation in Rural and Urban Communities”. The meeting will be held backto-back with the Australasia-Pacific Extension Network (APEN) International Conference to be held on 13th till 15th of September. Side events will be organised on 8th and 9th of September 2017.

On  21st and 22nd June 2017, more than 200 companies, associations and organisations will be presenting what they have to offer in the organic agriculture arena at the first ever nationwide Organic Field Days.
