To get a better view on the use of Precision Agriculture Technologies in European agriculture, a partnership is launching a survey for European farmers. The survey wants to learn more about European farmers' awareness and experiences on Precision Agriculture Technologies.

From 18th till 23rd of November, 2018 Agricultural Advisory Centre in Brwinow, Branch in Radom organized a study visit for directors of advisory Centres in Poland, a group 25 people to the Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority TEAGASC.

The Fertigation Bible has been prepared to provide useful practical information to the horticultural sector of the diverse technologies available for all aspects of fertigation within the EU. The various stage of the “fertigation process” are shown in the schematic representation below. The Fertigation Bible contains descriptions of the technologies related to these stages. 

A new project – OK-Net EcoFeed – aimed at helping organic pig and poultry farmers in achieving the goal of 100% use of organic and regional feed was launched on 22nd of January, 2018.

EUFRAS is participating as 3rd party in NEFERTITI to support the project-partners with dissemination of results to all EUFRAS members and to organize cross-visits between initiators of farm-demonstration activities to intensify innovation by peer-to-peer learning. EUFRAS members from Croatia, Poland, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland and Spain are NEFERTITI-project partners.

EUFRAS Annual Assembly 2018 took place from 21st till 22nd of February in Warsaw, Poland together with the international conference „Challenges for agricultural advisory after 2020”. The assebly was hosted by EUFRAS member organization Agricultural Advisory Center in Brwinow.

The 3rd edition of TP Organics’ Organic Innovation Days took place from 15 to 17 November in Brussels, Belgium. The aim of the event was to show the innovation potential of the organic food and farming sector.

2nd Annual SEASN Assembly and 4th Regional Conference of Advisory Service of South East Europe will take place in Lasko, Slovenia on 21st November 2017 within Annual Seminar of Kmetijsko Gozdarska Zbornica Slovenije (KGZS). More information will follow!

The topic of the conference was summarized with the title “New Challenges in Rural Areas – Tradition and Transforming Agriculture”, which was examined by giving an overview of the Hungarian situation, and also that of international scale – staging professional lectures, interactive workshops, and study tours with various topics, organized to agricultural and food industry businesses combining tradition and innovation in the countryside.
